Frequently asked questions

What age range is this program for?

The Successful Sleep Coaching Programs are perfect for pregnancy or infants and young children, 0-6 years old. Since our programs are supportive and tear-free, you can implement the steps as soon as you are ready and they work for children who are very smart and resistant to change, too.

What are the next steps?

1. Set up a free Sleep Intervention Call to discuss our programs and ask questions. 2. Receive the contract with details and options. Then sign the contract and choose the program and add-on options you are interested in. 3. Pay for your program. 4. Then, receive program information and details about next steps via email.

Can I change programs after I purchase one?

You can upgrade your program in the first week or two. After that, you can add on support, but it will be at a higher cost. Email Meredith to discuss your options.

Do you have a money-back guarantee?

No, we do not have a money-back guarantee. There are too many elements that are out of our control. The program is effective. The client is responsible for following the directions and sticking with the program. We don't believe in forcing babies and young children to sleep optimally or independently if they are not ready to. Our program is designed to help infants and young children sleep as well as possible, as soon as possible.

Do you help with night weaning?

Yes, we do! We are very experienced in this area. We have creative, nurturing solutions for you and your child! We also help mothers wean fully. We have a lactation counselor on our staff!

Can you help us if we co-sleep?

Absolutely! We'll help you wean from cosleeping if you are interested in independent sleep or we'll help your child sleep better if they bed-share or sleep near your bed. Independence sleep is not necessary. 2 of our sleep coaches bed-share.

Do I have to give up cuddling, feeding, or rocking my baby to sleep?

First, your goals are our goals. We will work with you, no matter what your goals are and what your parenting style is. Second, we believe that cuddling, feeding, rocking, walking, etc. is great for your relationship and meeting your child's needs. Third, some children need contact or motion to be able to fall asleep. We'll help you put your child in their bed awake and show them how to fall asleep on their own using tear-free methods. If you don't want to do this,  you don't have to! We believe it empowers children to learn to put themselves to sleep at naps and bed-time to self-settle when they feel well. But there will be times when your child will need or even insist that you hold them when they are tired, day and night. This is normal for sensitive children during teething, growth, development and illness. Fourth, you can always do a little extra cuddling when you feel like it, without going backwards.

It's very important to me to be responsive at night. Do I have to use methods at night or ignore my baby's cries?

We want you to be responsive to your child! Please be 100% responsive, and never ignore your intuition, not even for better sleep. No, we don't typically use sleep methods at night. And we don't believe in ignoring baby cries at night. We think it's smart to watch the monitor and be mindful of the type of cry in the middle of the night, when they start to wake up, because they can sometimes fall back asleep or cry in their sleep.

We also know that some kids wake themselves up if you wait AT ALL. We'll teach you how to respond at night to meet your child's needs (always) while encouraging independence. We want you to be responsive, in tune with your child, and intuitive in the way you respond. ALWAYS listen to your heart and your gut and be in tune to your child!

Do you really use l methods? Do I have to prepare for a lot of crying or even a little? It's hard to trust sleep consultants. I've heard a lot of stories about them claiming they use "gentle" methods but really there is a lot of crying involved.

Yes, we really use tear-free methods. Meredith created our methods while she was working with sensitive, high needs, and spirited babies over a period of 2 years. She discovered that these methods work well for all types of infants and young children.

We have a one-of-a-kind approach that is peaceful, supportive, and helps little ones cooperate. We don't believe in rushing, forcing, or going against your intuition. Our approach is science-based and supports the optimal development and long-term well-being of children. We can't wait to share these methods with you!
